Rest is not what we believe it to be...
Rest is not a thing that we simply crave.
We need it...
innately, wholeheartedly.
We were created for it.
Rest is not defined by the world, not truly.
Its definition traces its roots back to the beginning...
to creation, to divinity,
to perfection.
Rest does not hold in it what we think it does.
It is not a nap, a break, a moment of mental and physical breath.
It is more than that.
Rest hold infinite value and capacity within itself,
transforming a burning-out life to a fiery blaze,
sustained and overflowing.
Rest is a clarity of direction.
It is a sustainable pace.
It is emotional wholeness.
It is everything fitting together as it was divinely crafted to.
It is operating at the fullest and truest level
with ease and colors unimaginable.
Rest is experiential.
A gift from the One who paints the colors of our lives.
And it is only really found in One place.
